Jack was raised in the
foothills of Eastern Tennessee, the eldest son of five boys born to loving, Christian parents. As a child, his love for music
was evident to all who met him. He sang in local churches and his Grandmother, Mother and her two sisters had a singing group
which traveled to the local area churches.
As he grew to adulthood, his passion
for singing led to gospel songwriting and today he writes a large majority of his own material.
He was taught at an early age to play the Guitar by a favortie uncle and later he became interested in learning to play the
piano. Today Jack plays Keyboard at many of his concerts, especially at the churches and nursing homes without a sound system.
After retirement in 2002, following a thirty year law enforcement career, Jack was the lead singer for the Jericho Road Quartet.
In 2007, he became a full-time soloist with a traveling ministry.
For over twenty years, Jack has dedicate his heart, talents and his life to spreading God's word through testimony and
song. Along with his Church Ministry, Jack continues to hold services three and four times per month at various local nursing
homes. Jack appears regularly on the television show "Jesus Talk Live at The Manger" broadcast on WLFT.TV, and the
"Living Faith Network," which is recorded in Gatlinburg,Tennessee.
Everywhere Jack sings people come to him after the service and
tell him how his smoothness and style with a song reminds them of the late "Burl Ives" which to Jack is a wonderful
compliment as he is also a fan of the late Mr Ives. Rev. Thomas is available for just a song service or a full service
and he especially loves revivals. Our contact numbers are 865-436-6209 and cell phone 865 964-0544.
May God Bless You! Connie.
